Brock Students Raise Food for RAFT

The Brock University Students’ Union and Brock Badgers varsity soccer squads teamed up this past Wednesday to promote and support RAFT, a drop in shelter for troubled teens. The Resource Association For Teens, or The RAFT, is where they can receive counseling, hot meals and even a place to stay for the night.
On Wednesday, Brock students came out in full force to donate much need food and cheer both soccer teams on to victory.
“It was a great way to spend an afternoon, the Badger soccer teams going onto the next round, and the Brock students helping out those in need,” stated James O’Brien, President of the Brock University Students’ Union. “It was a successful day on all fronts”
Established in 1971, the Brock University Students’ Union is a not-for-profit student organization, representing 17,000 students.
