On Wed. Nov 21st and Thurs. Nov 22nd Brock Students from the drama department put on Colin Calvert’s play Last Respects. This production was directed by Meaghan Shepard and Jacelyn Holmes. The story based around the very somber and emotional topic of death but was complimented by the invigorating and truly hilarious acting by the entire cast.

“Last Respects has a flavour of wonder about it. As the story progresses and the plot is revealed, one can’t help but laugh as the three attendees at the deceased’s wake. They learn much more then they had anticipated about one another coupled with the incredible twist at the end of the play, the audience was completely enthrawled” chuckled James O’Brien, President of Brock University Students’ Union.

Last Respects production was showcased in the Studio theatre of Brock University and drew nearly a packed house. This was mainly due to the interest generated around the production.

“This is another great example of what Brock Students are able to do. This is a glaring example of the diverse and exemplary talent that Brock University embraces,” boasted President James O’Brien.
