This will be essentially FREE to students held in Isaac’s from 9-11pm! As a welcome back gift to students from BUSU and the Brock Hillel club, we are preparing an all you can eat Breakfast FEAST. We say “essentially” free because we’re taking donations for Shinerama, a charity that helps raise money for cystic fibrosis across Canada. Pay what you can is exactly what it sounds; whether you’re feeling charitable and want to pitch a toonie or just have a couple of cents for the cause – everything helps!

NHL Lockout Gameday

Who else misses the NHL? Well don’t sit around complaining about Gary Bettman… come out and win your own BUSU Stanley Cup! We will be hosting a HUGE NHL 2013 tournament downstairs in Isaac’s open to ALL Brock University students. EB Games and United Gamers of Brock will be sponsoring this tournament. Grand prizes include gaming systems, TV’s, SWAG and more! Registration begins Monday January 7^th at 10:00am and ends Tuesday January 8th at 6pm!

We also have a pick up and play games going on upstairs in Skybar Lounge for all of you FIFA 13, Madden 13, Call of Duty, and Halo fans out there! This tournament will be hosted by our very own, United Gamers of Brock! Prizes for these tournaments as well as the NHL Lockout Party will be presented by EB Games and BUSU. Come cheer on the Brock Badgers Men’s Hockey Team as they take on the Waterloo Warriors in Waterloo! Meet at Skybar @ 4:30pm to get ready for the game; the bus will leave from Isaac’s patio at 5:30pm, and the puck drops in Waterloo at 7:30pm. It’s only $5 to reserve your seat, and that includes transportation, ticket to the game and a knitted scarf and reservations can be made at the BUSU front desk.
