What’s better than tag? Tag using laser beams! Take part in this recreational activity. Come with friends or as an individual. For $5 players will receive 30 minutes playing time in our customized course. No special skills necessary.

So who wants to create lifelong memories with a unique Canadian outdoor winter experience? Yup, that’s what we thought! TD Rink at the Brink is an open-air outdoor ice rink located a snowball’s throw from the “brink” of the Horseshoe Falls offering breathtaking views and a magical outdoor skating experience. We’ve privately rented out the ice just for Brock Students. Flash your student card to get in! There will be a bus shuttle service in operation throughout the night (Every half hour leaving from Isaac’s Patio starting at 8:15 pm and ending at 10:45 pm), enjoy some egg nog or apple cider on the patio in the meantime! Don’t have skates? Not a problem! There will be free skate rentals available at the rink!

A: Frost Week is BUSUs way of welcoming you back from that much needed winter break! We know how much you all loved O-Week, so now it’s time for us to reward you with an awesome week of fun!
A: Isaac's IceBreaker's are enthusiastic upper year students here to help welcome incoming first years in their transition to university! All IceBreakers have had an unreal and invaluable experience during their Frost Week and it's their job to make it just as exciting for you!
A: Most of them do not! We recognize that we are all students, and finances are not always available! Therefore, we have made sure to keep the costs to the minimum, even making most of the events free.

Event: Free Hot Chocolate
Location: Underneath the Schmon Tower
Accessible Washrooms: Accessible washrooms equipped with automatic door operators are located in the main entrance of the Schmon Tower.
Accessible Entrances: Main entrance under the Schmon Tower is accessible. There is a ramp on either side.


Event: Laser Tag
Location: Pond Inlet
Accessible Washrooms: There is a unisex accessible washroom located on the bottom floor, around the corner from the pond inlet equipped with a power operated door.
Accessible Entrances: : The main entrance of Pond Inlet is accessible equipped with a power operated door.


Event: Pool Party
Location: Brock Pool
Accessible Washrooms: Located on the upper floor of the Walker Complex, a female accessible washroom (with power operated door) is located in the hallway directly behind the Welcome Desk. For males, an accessible washroom (with power operated door) is located in hallway at the west corner of Welcome Desk (hallway closest to the platform lift).On the lower floor of the Walker Complex, female accessible washroom with an open doorway is located adjacent to locker room. A male accessible washroom with open doorway is located adjacent to locker room. An accessible individual washroom (no power door operator) is located inside the Family Change Room. An accessible shower stall, equipped with a movable bench and shower head is located in the female and male change rooms.
Accessible Entrances: All entrances to the pool are accessible.
Elevators:There is an elevator providing access to all floors in the Walker Complex is located beside the Zone in the atrium overlooking the Beddis gym. A smaller platform lift (staff assisted) is located at the main stairs beside the Welcome Desk (lower level by the Cage). To obtain staff assistance, press the button in the yellow call box located beside the platform lift. There is also a lift if individuals need assistance to get into the pool.


Event: Ball Hockey
Location:Taro Hall Field
Accessible Washrooms: Nearest accessible washrooms are located in the Student Alumni Centre.
Accessible Entrances: The rink will have a spectator section. There will also be Ice Breaker volunteers present if individuals need any sort of assistance.


Event: Concerts, Yuk Yuks Comedy night, Games Day, Vendor Fair, Club Fair, Open Mic Night, Threesome Thursday
Location: Isaac's Bar / Skybar
Accessible Washrooms: On the lower floor and upper floor, the washroom is equipped with a power operated door and accessible stall.
Accessible Entrances: Closest Elevators to Isaac's are located in the Plaza building.


Event: Rink at the Brink Skating Night
Location: Pick up/Drop off will be from the Isaac`s Patio (main gate entrance will be open), Rink is located at the Niagara Parks Commission’s Table Rock Welcome Centre (6650 Niagara Parkway - near the brink of the Horseshoe Falls)
Accessiblity of Rink: Wheelchairs are not permitted on the ice rink.
Accessible Washrooms: There are no washrooms located in close proximity to the rink. However, the TD RINK at the Brink is close to amenities (Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, Elements on the Falls Restaurant, Niagara’s Fury) that have an accessible washroom.
Accessible Entrances: Transportation will be provided. Please contact VPSS Liv Meriano in advance if you require accessible transportation.


Accessibility Features – Support Services

All events will have Icebreakers who will assistant in any accessibility needs. In addition, Service animals or support persons are permitted to attend any events or programs provided by BUSU and are admitted free of charge.
