It is my duty to deliver what will be a very eventful O-Week! There’s only one thing I ask in return- indulge. I work with my parents in their business ever since I was a child. I enjoying reading novels, swimming in our Bahamian crystal clear waters on a nice hot sunny day, playing beach volleyball with my friends; I especially love traveling. Best of all I enjoying cooking and eating all of the lovely cultural food my mother, family members and myself prepare like conch salad, conch fritters, boil fish and grits, chicken souse, stew fish and my favorite sweet made by my grandmother Christmas Plum Pudding mmm...yummmy..... I am in Community Health and I plan on moving into Nursing when I have completed my Community Health. I want to specialize in Surgical Nursing or Pediatric Nursing. I am very excited about transitioning to Brock University and especially Canada. :) Can't wait to meet everyone. Enjoy the rest of your summer!! :)

A: O-Week stands for Orientation week. It's a jam-packed eventful week of events, fairs, volunteering opportunities, etc. to get you orientated with the Brock community, your Faculty and campus.
A: Isaac's IceBreaker's are enthusiastic upper year students here to help welcome incoming first years in their transition to university! All IceBreakers have had an unreal and invaluable experience during their O-Week and it's their job to make it just as exciting for you! All the IceBreakers are here to help but during the Faculty Events- certain IceBreakers are allocated to your specific faculty. They'll teach you cheers, answer any questions you may have and overall make sure your transition is a smooth one!
A: Yes. All O-Week events are permitted to Brock students only. You will be required to show your student ID at many events, so we recommend carrying it with you.
A: Tickets will be sold at the Vendor Fair on both Tuesday and Wednesday in front of the Schmon Tower. If you purchased an Access Gold card, the card IS your ticket, so you won't need to pick one up.
A: Did you miss out on getting your Access Gold card at Smart Start? No worries! We'll be selling any remaining cards at various locations at the beginning of O-Week, so check back soon for exact locations and times.

Accessible Washrooms: There will be accessible portable washrooms on-site for the big ticket concert. The closest indoor accessible washrooms are in the bottom floor of Isaac’s.
Accessible Entrances: In addition to the Weather Station Field main entrance, individuals using mobility devices may enter near the stage; this entrance is signed and limited to BUSU staff, volunteers and individuals using mobility devices only.

Events: Kick Off & Cheer Off, Live Burn, Vendor Fair, Closing Ceremonies
Location: Schmon Tower Field
Accessible Washrooms: Accessible washrooms equipped with automatic door operators are located in the main entrance of the Schmon Tower

All events will have Icebreakers who will assist if you require assistance with any accessibility needs/inquiries. In addition, service animals or support persons are permitted to attend any events or programs provided by BUSU and are admitted free of charge.
