Yesterday was yet another amazing day.
It started with a trip to the vendor fair. After signing up for the paint party, getting my student card swiped and filling up a bag with swag, my housemates and I practiced putting out fires with the fire fighters. The vendor fair was good for more than just free stuff though, we got tons of information about everything going on in, and around Brock.
After the vendor fair, we went on a house bus trip around the area.
The SexEd lecture was an amazing highlight of the night. River, the presenter, surpassed expectations. It wasn’t just the same old song and dance, River used humour, and hilarious demonstrations, to explain the importance of communication, and sobriety, in the bedroom.
Games night followed the lecture. Large screens were set up in Decew and the tournament of games began. The room was packed as gamers battled it out.
This morning I had both of my orientations. I slept through my concurrent education orientation, but I was told it was quite helpful. I did end up going to the humanities orientation though. It was good, the audience was introduced to the dean and other important people.
This afternoon, we have Uh-Oh (so excited!) and tonight,the big ticket concert!!!
